Jesus Christ took away the sin of mankind and died on the cross, and after three days He was resurrected, overcoming the power of sin and death. 40 days after His resurrection, He ascended into heaven from the Mount of Olives, by which He gave His disciples a living hopethe hope of resurrection and ascension.

On May 25th, the members of the Church of God held the Ascension Day Worship outdoors in commemoration of Christs ascension into heaven. Between the morning and afternoon worship services, they spent time together sharing the gracious fragrance of Zion and playing some recreational games. Through the worship services and events, which were held in the pleasant weather and under the fresh green leaves, the Church members felt the grace of God, who had allowed them to keep the feast, and felt brotherly love as well.

Mother gave thanks to God our Father for making us His children through the feasts and allowing us to share the joy and hope of ascension in the beautiful nature. She prayed that all the children would earnestly ask for the Holy Spirit and receive it so that they could lead many souls all around the world to righteousness and shine like the stars in the sky forever.

Chief Pastor Joo-Cheol Kim encouraged the members to obey Gods words with faith, saying, Christ, just before His ascension, said, You will be witnesses in Samaria and to the ends of the earth, and the disciples obeyed these words. It was on the Day of Ascension that world mission began. Our forefathers in faith obeyed Gods words with absolute faith and were greatly blessed. Like them, let us obey Gods words without hesitationGo and preach to all nationsby faith. He added, I want you to pray earnestly enough to move God and obey His words, so that this Ascension Day will be the spark that spread the fire of the gospel throughout the whole world.

From the evening of the day, the Prayer Weeks of Pentecost began. The members prayed earnestly and unitedly for the power of the Holy Spirit to preach the new covenant to all the nations of the world, engraving in their hearts Christs last command to save all the people of the world.
